Hannah and Jim Connell-Moylan

Hannah and Jim Connell-Moylan are brother and sister and go to schools in Dublin. The photo shows them with Laure making a far breton, a traditional breton cake. Hannah has been with us four times. She spent her first homestay with Miranda Knight from New Ross when we lived in Nantes.

Killian Grumley Traynor

Killian come's from Dublin and goes to St Mary's College. He has come to us for two summers.Here's an extract from a letter sent to us by his mum Blanaid after his homestay in 2006:

"It is with slight trepidation that one sends one's teenager abroad for twelve days and one always hopes that the experience will be a happy one and give practice in dealing with new and at times challenging situations. Killian has comeback so motivated for all things French and so confident from his experience that we feel sure that he is now better equipped to face the next stage of his development".

Molly Garvey, Wicklow

 

Molly Garvey came to us last Christmas for her second LikeHome stay. Here she is with her Mum, Maggie. She got an A+in her French Hons Leaving Cert this year (2010). Molly went to Alexandra College in Dublin. 

 

She sent us this message following her exam success:

 

"Bonjour Laure, Peter et Tom,

Just to let you know that I got an A+ in my French Leaving Cert results today. It's all thanks to you and just to thank you again for all that you did to help my French.
