About Laure

I come from Montluçon right in the centre of France. I have a degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) from the University of Clermont Ferrand. I also have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language  TEFL diploma.

I have ten years of all sorts of language teaching experience but especially with younger adults. I worked as a Department of Education oral French examiner while living in Dublin. I set up Le Club Français in various primary schools in Co. Wexford.

My husband Peter and I returned to France in 2004 and set-up 'LikeHome Brittany' to welcome students of French to our home and have been delighted with the results attained.

.

I currently teach French as a Foreign Language (FLE) to international students at the Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art

Bonjour! I'm Peter

I'm Irish and came to France in 1987 and lived for ten years in Paris.  I'm a sociologist and work in the fields of education and professional intercultural training.

Laure and I work well together, both of us having complementary skills and backgrounds. I've put together a number of special themes about current French society and changes that are taking place. I also cook our after-class lunches that follow morning courses. I consider as an essential part of learning about our regional cultures here that make France ...well so distinctive!
