Learn French with us in Quimper, capital of the most westerly of Brittany's coastal regions, Finistère.

- We offer homestays to younger adults wishing to prepare for their school exams. These courses run usually run at Easter and during the summer months.

About Laure
I come from Montluçon right in the centre of France. I have a degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) from the University of Clermont Ferrand. I also have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language TEFL diploma.
I have ten years of all sorts of language teaching experience but especially with younger adults. I worked as a Department of Education oral French examiner while living in Dublin. I set up Le Club Français in various primary schools in Co. Wexford.
Peter and I returned to France in 2004 and set-up 'LikeHome Brittany' to welcome students of French to our home.We've welcomed students from Ireland and have been delighted with the top exam results attained.

We also have had adult students from Germany and hope that we can develop this learning expereince in the future.
La Fête de la Reine!
Molly Garvey from Laragh, Co. Wicklow spent a week under Brittany snow brushing-up her French. Here she is with her Mum, Maggie who is wearing her Crown following the Epiphany Fête de la Galette des Rois (first Sunday in January).
