       New look Like Home Brittany website

We've decided to develop this website to promote closer exchanges between Ireland and Brittany. We've been running Like Home for eight years now. We've had over a hundred students staying with us in Nantes and in Quimper.

We came up with the name 'Like Home Brittany' after some market research of Irish visitors coming through Lorient on Aer Aran flights in 2005.

In 2010, Danny Denton wrote in the Irish Times:

'Brittany just like home - only better. Being so like Ireland enhances the good vibe and sensual glories of Brittany'

We agree, though we think Irish people have also brought alot to Brittany in the last twenty years - music, dance, a bit of craic during the Interceltic and more recently gaelic football!

We are working to extend this website to help Irish people find new friends, new places of interest and new ideas in Brittany. If you have a special request or idea let us know. We hope to use our contacts to help improve eBusiness opportunities between Ireland and Brittany.
